Antique American Silverplate Co. quadruple plate cup, mug with etched flowers and engraved name “Edna”

$18.00

This dainty antique mug is marked “American Silverplate Co. – quadruple” on the bottom. The word ‘quadruple’ refers to the fact that this piece was plated with four times as much as silver as most other hollow-ware items. This piece is most likely from the late 1800s or early 1900s and shows considerable tarnish. We’re not going to clean it and will leave it up to the buyer to either leave as is or polish up.

An engraved design of flowers and other geometric elements adorns either side, and the name ‘Edna’ is etched into one side as well. In overall good condition with some warping to the very bottom of the mug.

measurements: 3″ tall x 3.75″ wide (with handle) x 2.25″ wide (without handle)
