Event & Class Descriptions

Junket's events and classes are designed to nurture community, creativity, and culture-shifting systems through a single, simple creative constraint: 100% reuse.

Each event takes place within a series. Each series is a theme with variations. Pop in where it makes sense - all events take place IRL in Mpls or St. Paul.

Monthly Events/Series: 

Gather & Mend: Second Thursday evening of each month from 6-8PM in 55403. Third story walkup (or outdoors, weather permitting), on-site supplies and peer-to-peer support available. Bring your mending pile or items, or experiment with one of ours! 

Gather & Create (Sunday Morning Social): Third Sunday of each month, 9-11:30 AM in 55403. Third story walkup (or outdoors, weather & project permitting). Includes coffee & donut. Projects vary by month. See event listing for dates & details. 

Gather & Sort: Third Wednesday of each month, 6-8PM in 55403. Expect some stairs. This credit-bearing series involves assisting in the organization of incoming materials/supplies, and is intended to create economic access (digital 'store' credit) that sorters can then use to attend other classes or purchase products. We are also exploring this as a way to support & capture the accumulation of sweat equity for future cooperative investment.

Evergreen Series: Third Thursday of each month, 6-8PM in 55105 (St. Paul). Zero-entry, ADA accessible location. See Junket's Event Listings at Evergreen Collective for dates, details, and to purchase tickets for this series.

It's Sustainable! (but is it, really?): Fourth Thursday of each month, 6-7:30PM in 55403. Third story walkup. Educational series with a focus on data-supported evaluation/critique of common 'sustainable' practices. Goal: identify the best social strategies to maximize individual & collective ROI/impact of individual and collective investments of time, energy, effort, and dollars.

Quarterly: 

Prix Fixe Pop-up Sales: Quarterly weekend sales coinciding with first Fridays in May, August, & November. ADA accessible location (banquet room at The Black Forest) in 55404. 

Vendor Cohort, Prix Fixe Pop-ups: Quarterly opportunity for community members to downsize/declutter/divest of significant household contents during a socially oriented Thursday-Sunday weekend sale. No experience necessary. Participation limited, secure your space in the cohort by registering to attend the Vendor Kick-off Meeting.
