Kingston was an American Thread Company brand, and this packaging dates approximately from the mid-1940s through the 1960s. That makes this thread especially useful for restoration work where material character, age, and period compatibility matter.
The thread has a substantial, traditional carpet-thread feel: firm, matte, and visibly fibrous, with the original labeling identifying it as 10/3, left twist.
