Ministry of Matter (Gather & Sort)

When things get chaotic, one of the best things we can do for ourselves is to focus on what we can control -- and sorting is one of the best ways we've found to bring order and clarity to both mental and physical clutter.

You know what else helps to ease the load? Community. 

These are credit-bearing gatherings intended to turn a couple of hours of your available time into social connection and 'store' credit for Junket's 100% reuse products, events, and service offerings as you help us organize estate remainders and secondhand stuff into useful product categories, parts, and assortments. 

These analog (phones off) events will take place on the third Wednesday evening of each month in Stevens Square, beginning in March 2025. While we'll gather outside as weather and project requirements permit, our default location is a third story walkup. Air quality will be proactively managed (spacious room, open windows, air filtration) and masks are welcomed. 

Another note on air quality and community health: carbon emissions are heavily front-loaded into the pre-consumer phases of any product's environmental lifecycle. When you help us prepare used goods for the consumer market, you're helping to not only reduce demand for new manufacturing, but you're helping to keep good, useful stuff out of the trash and available for social reuse (no lining billionaire pockets; no tariffs!).

Attendees are asked to actively consider the social impact of their travel mode: walk, bike, and public transit are encouraged. Slow living is good for our brains and souls, so allow yourself time for the journey.
